Purchasing

To purchase bulk learner access to the IASR training course, select the Purchase Access tab above. Enter the number of learners with the plus and minus (+/-) buttons or by entering the value directly in the box. Once you press the “Add to Cart” button, the cost will be automatically adjusted to include a bulk discount (if applicable).

Screencap of shoping cartTo move forward with your purchase, select the View Cart button. Before purchasing, ensure that your information is displayed exactly as required. If necessary, make any changes on the screen and press Update Shopping Cart. If you have a Discount Code, enter the number on this screen to adjust the pricing. Your total purchase price should now display on the screen, including the Ontario HST (13%).

To complete your purchase, select the blue Proceed to Checkout button. Before checking out, you will need to enter your billing information. Complete all fields marked with a red asterisk. If you choose the “create an account” option, it will make it easier to register additional learners at a later date.

After selecting the Place Order button you will be directed to the PayPal site to complete the transaction using a PayPal account or with a credit card.

Purchase of the course provides access for each learner for a period of 90 days.

Enrolling learners

Within 24 hours of your purchase, we will contact you to request your learner list, with the following information:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address

It’s best if you can provide this information in a .csv or Excel file.

We’ll create a profile for each learner and enrol them in the IASR Training Course, then contact you to confirm registration and help you kick-off the training.

Tracking learner progress

As the person purchasing access to the courses you are designated the Group Leader.  We will set up a unique administration profile for you to manage the training. You will be able to access the administrative options at: http://www.accessibilityelearning.ca/wp-login.php. Type your username and password into the fillable boxes, and Log In. You will first be directed to the Profile page. If you would like to designate an alternative person to manage the group, then you can do so here, but the username for the Group Leader cannot be changed.

To track your learner progress, select the Courses tab on the left side of the screen. On the Courses – Group Administration page you can view a list of all enrolled learners by selecting the List Users link. On this page you can view a report of each learner’s progress, or send an email to all participants.  For example, you can send reminder emails to the group to complete their training by the designated date.

You can track the progress of your learners at any time by selecting the Export Progress link from the Courses – Group Administration page. A .csv file (can be opened with Excel) will be downloaded, showing the progress of all learners (i.e. which modules & quizzes they have completed); learners who have not yet started the course will not be listed. This report can be saved and used as a record of training to meet the legislative requirements.
